When I was living in Victoria I decided to visit some old friends from Olympia years ago that now lived in Vancouver. While there I was introduced to a swingy funny song called Just A Friendly Little Cat. Several years later I was listening to it and thought.. this song needs to be modernized a bit, and after much social experimentation the new song was born. I have two versions depending on the audience, the family friendly version being The Cougar Is A Big Old Pussycat.
